A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the geostationary communications satellite Es’hail 2 today, November the 15th, from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. The satellite, manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric for Quatar-based operator Es’hailsat, will provide television service to the Middle East and North Africa regions.
TRYO SENER Group has designed, manufactured and tested the Ku-Band telemetry and tele-command antennas for this satellite, in addition to an S-Band horn antenna. With this one, there will be already three in-orbit satellites manufactured by the Japanese company with telemetry and tele-command antennas produced by TRYO SENER Group, following the launch of Turksat 4A and 4B satellites in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
